MGAHINGA GORILLA NATIONAL PARK

This is one of the places in uganda that offer habitat for the endangered mountain gorilla. Situated in Kisoro district, south western uganda. 400kms from kampala city. It convergesto Rwanda's volcanoes, the DR Congo's viringa National park. It offeers three extinct volcanoes for fit hikers though they don't require special mountianering years.


There is a wide range of attractons which include gorilla tracking, birding, ecosystem and wildlife. This area is highly populated with the Bafumbiras as the most population.
