QUEEN ELIZABETH AND MURCHISON FALLS PARKS
DAY ONE
Morning pick up from your overnight accommodation in Kampala.
Start 4-5 hour drive to Murchison Falls National Park. Transfer
to the magnificent Top of the falls where you will enjoy your
picnic lunch as you marvel at the Might Nile being forced
into a seven meter crevice to thunder 45 metres below in a
series of cascades. The Nile can be viewed at different points
up to he Baker’s Summit. Dinner and overnight at Sarova
Paraa Lodge or Inns on the Nile Camp.
DAY TWO
After an early morning breakfast, embark on a half day game
drive on the northern bank of the River Nile. Escorted by
game ranger, you may opt for a game walk while trailing animals
and studying animal spoors. Game in this area include Giraffe,
Elephant, Harte beast, Lion, Uganda Kob, Oribi and a variety
of Savannah and woodland birds. After lunch, take a Nile Cruise
for game viewing at close quarters. This is a paradise of
the Hippo and Crocodiles. Dinner and overnight at Sarova
Paraa
Lodge or Inns on the Nile Camp.
DAY THREE
Depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park. En route, lunch
at the Kolping Hotel Masindi. Later proceed through African
Rift valley before arriving in Queen Elizabeth National Park.
After an evening game drive, transfer to your accommodations
for dinner and overnight either at Mweya Safari Lodge or Jacana
Camp.
DAY FOUR
After an early morning cup of tea at 6:30 a.m., depart for
game drive on the northerly parts of the park along the Kasenyi
Track. This is the best time for opportunities of viewing
the cats in action. Later return for breakfast. In the afternoon,
take a boat cruise on the Kazinga for solitary Buffolo, Hippo
and other animals at the edge of the channel as they cool
off. European migrant birds like the terns and gulls congregate her in large flocks. Dinner and
overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge.
DAY FIVE
After a relaxed breakfast, transfer to Kampala and have lunch in
Mbarara Agip Motel.
